Official state registration directory

Each state maintains its own business registry. The U.S. Small Business Administration provides an official directory of state registration offices, including jurisdictions that use agencies other than the Secretary of State.

Verification is more than a name match

Confirm the legal entity's jurisdiction, document number, entity type, status, last filing date and registered agent using the official state record. A registered business is not automatically licensed, tax-compliant, in good standing, or IRS tax-exempt. State registries use different status terms, and some records or certificates require a fee.

Current release: official links and guided research. Automatic state-data synchronization, bulk imports and cross-state matching are not part of the current directory. No business details are transmitted to SALOKCIN from these links.
